Armanda Suni and Balbina Lafu, were both complaints on their hopeless for seeking the truth on when they can receive both their subsidies from the Government.They both intend to receive a number of amounts from Government subsidy related to veterans subsidies.
Today is the last chance, they have been told by the BNU Oecusse Managers, that their account number was there but without any money? Where should they go now?

Armanda and Balbina told us, they has spent all the coins they have from the market day before to pay for the transport from their home to comedown to Oecusse town and they felt hopeless as there is no such a clear information and where to find it.

ReplyDeleteOne should be very cynical seeing this happening, anno 2009, in an oil-rich country plus the 'special status' of this paricular region. Or should one makes a distinction between this Enclave Oecusse and it's people?
Recently I read (in my poorly understanding lingua Tetum), that women should be extra granted for taking part in electable position coming Regional Election. The same regional authority who is also in favor for this policy towards women, should be accounted for lesser, but not less-painful situation of women in their daily 'not wanted' unequal social position.
